Our wine
Our vineyards of the Coteaux d'Ensérune IGP are rooted close to Béziers (Herault), within the territory of Lespignan. It is set against the gentle curves of the foothills of the Montagne Noire to the north, and the limestone plateaus and molassic hills to the south, where the work of time and erosion has created band of Limestone “dresses” almost the entire Coteaux d'Ensérune PGI area. Pure or with clay, rich in numerous nuances of texture and depth depending on the local micro-terroirs.
Unsurprisingly, the climate is Mediterranean, with dry, hot summers, mild winters and relatively wet springs and autumns.
The profiles of the wines vary: on limestone alone, the minerality lends them a great deal of uprightness and gives that famous impression of “sucking the rock”. When clay is involved, the wines have a broader base and fuller mouthfeel.
